    Hi Gurus,

Here is a project am working on. Am editing out a workshop session which consists of screen recording and the voice of the speaker recorded through airpod. The Output video is of “.mov” format and plays well in the Finder menu or in QuickTime player. But when I import it into after effects, the waveform is not being shown and the audio is not played even in the RAM preview. The file’s details have been given below,

    Dimensions: 1280*720
    Codecs: H.264, AAC
    Color profile: HD (1-1-1)
    Duration: 01:01:46
    Audio channel: 1
Encoding software: Mac OS X 10.12.6

Kindly, help me the solution and ask me for any more details you need. Thanks in advance. 🙂

    Hi Dave,

I don’t how can I transcode the file into a photo JPEG codec and meanwhile, I figured out a different solution by importing the footage into premiere pro and rendering out from PP as a mp3 and now it works fine. I used the .mov file for the video and this .mp3 from premiere as audio. Anyways, Thank you so much, Dave.
