Premiere has been crashing more and more lately, and i’m having some odd audio events. Mainly, i bring in clips that i KNOW have two tracks, but only one track comes in. Then, levels seem to be wacky, and when i export overall levels seem pretty low. I play iTunes or other sound files (outside of Premiere), and they are much louder.

i dropped one of Premiere’s bars and tones files onto my sequence and it brings in one channel of audio at -12 db…which seems normal (except for the one track limitation.

    any ideas???

a few weeks ago everything seemed more normal with audio (no big differences with iTunes, et al), and it was importing 2 channels for clips.

thanks for helping out a bonehead!
