Audio Monitoring

A quick question about capture. I’d like to monitor audio levels while capturing. Sure, I can do it through the desk, but why not in the capture window. Does CS3 have this?
Not all of us capture DV, and we do have the means to adjust output levels from decks and desks.

No since capturing is just a digital data transfer and you can not modify the data during capture. You have to use your deck to modify audio levels before converting analog signals to digital.
