    Welcome to Final Cut Pro.

The feedback (or lack thereof) when capturing has been a long standing complaint. Monitor your Kona outs and you should know that you are getting audio.

FCP didn’t start out as a broadcast quality system.
This is one area in which it still has not caught up.

by version 5 you’d think they could have.

[Post Man] “by version 5 you’d think they could have.”

We’re at version 6 Neil and there’s no hope in sight…

This is one of my biggest issues with FCP. Not only do the audio meters disable during capture but the timecode display disables as well. Don’t even get me going. Also during edit to tape functions I have no idea where my deck is. Totally unprofessional. You know what they say, “anything with “”pro “”in the name isn’t really pro” end of rant.
