Hello all, this is my first post and I am still quite green on the terminology so be gentle.

I saw this effect used at London Olympics opening and Peter Gabriel New Blood Orchestra tour and am wondering how to do it.

It is a mesh that reacts to audio, like this:

    https://ae.tutsplus.com/tutorials/motion-graphics/a-beautiful-ripple-using-forms-audio-react/

but is mapped to a specific object or person like this:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPNcx9BDf1Y

Cant find a New Blood Orchestra video, they did it much better.

SO… How would you go about that?

Thank you all in advance, pretty much every answer I have needed on AE I’ve found here and this is probably around the forum as well but am unsure what the correct name for it would be.

Sorry for the belated thank you, I have been bogged down in other stuff, making me captain rapid response.

I have not tried that tutorial yet but from looking at it I believe you have found my solution.

    many thanks
