Does anyone have any tips/tutorials on matching footage to the sound of music? I can’t for the life of me seem to match the pat of a hand to the drum beat of the audio track. It’s driving me nuts!

    Thanks,
    Nick

Just listen to the music on the track and tap the asterisk key on the numeric keyboard on the beat. Then set up the video to have the clap (pat?) occur at the time of the asterisk.

A very worthy addition to your tools is the plugin Sound Keys from Trapcode. This allows you to pick virtually any instrument from your music and will automatically produce all the keyframe markers for you. It also works in Adobe AfterEffects
