    Hi,

Is it possible to lower the sound of an audio track at just a certain point on the timeline? I’ve something playing on the other track and want to lower the volume on the other for just under a minute but then bring it up to its previous volume again… is this possible?

And how so? I have no idea I’m afraid, I’m still quite the noob at Vegas.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do a search in the help file for “Volume Envelope”

If you have the Studio version you probably don’t have the option of using envelopes. You could (S)plit the section that you want lowered and use the ‘gain line’ at the top of the track to lower the volume. It will be an abrupt drop and raise though.

I have Movie Studio and I use the Audio Envelope Regularly. Unfortunately there is no Video envelope in Studio.
