    Hey all.

I’am using a Kona LHe on a G5 Quad, running Final Cut 5.1

When i “edit to tape” i can control the Audio Output with the loudspeakers buttons on my keyboard…. but i want a prober output of 1kHz – 9db looked for the time while i’am printing to tape.

In the system prefrences i’am using AJA Kona as Input and Output
In Final Cut the “Output for edit to Tape” is the same as the “Playback Output”

Do you guys got an idea what setups i have to make to get a clean Audio Output?

    Thanks

    Ben

Yes, don’t use your Kona for your internal system sounds as you have found your system volume will effect your output to tape. If you need sound out from other applications on your computer, simply hook up your G5 audio out to your mixer.

I agree – buy a cheap audio mixer – under $200 – for audio monitoring – it will work great, and do exactly what you want.
