  • Audio level after rendering

Whenever I make a video and play it on the timeline, the audio (mix between audio in original clip and additional music on other track) is OK. However after burning to an iso file directly from the timeline (not with DVD architect)the sound level of the music always seems to go up and down. There seems to be an interference with the (spoken) audio in the original clips, which is not noticeable when playing from the timeline. When someone starts to talk in the original videoclip, the music seems to fade away a bit and than goes back to the original level afterwards. Does anyone have an idea what could cause this and how it can be solved?

Hmm, one of the AC3 Audio Template allows for Auto(?)/Audio Gain Control(AGC). AGC, like your camera, can BOOST the audio when you film. I’ve never used this as an option in the AC3 template. Maybe you’ve picked this up in your process?

I have to say, the Vegas Online Help regarding this feature is evident by it’s omission!

AGC is “Automatic Gain control”. It’s not specific to audio. You camera likely has video AGC called “Auto Level”, but it’s the same thing.
