    Hi everybody

Assuming I have added a music track on channels A1 and A2 and several parts of a narration track on A3 an A4. If I add keyframes to my music tracks accordingly, in order for the music to rise and drop in between narration in and out points, is there a way to adjust music volume for all of these spaces in between (i.e. only for the parts that the music level would drop)? I’m guessing it has to do with in and out points, but I believe this would also affect the parts that I don’t want to adjust. Right? Any suggestions?

    Thanks a lot in advance

Adding an in/out will allow you to adjust all the keyframes in the selected track(s). If you have your music ducking under narration, it’s probably best to do that individually.

A thought would be to throw in add edits to the areas you want to lower and move those sections down to new audio track(s) using the segment tool.

Then highlight the entire new audio track(s) and adjust one section to the new lower level, making sure you have the “apply levels to in/out” (or whatever it’s called) on.

Once that’s set, move the sections back up into the original positions on your original audio track(s) and apply dissolves to all in/out points.
