audio lag with playback after import
I am new to PP but not NLE editing. I have started several new projects and captured 45-50 minutes of HDV. Trying to immediately watch the captured footage results in video without the audio. Waiting several minutes seems to solve the problem.
This is a only nuisance but slows down editing and review of footage. Is there any easy answer or fix to this issue? Thanks.
My system is:
Intel Q6600 quad core
Gigabyte P35 mobo, 4 gb PC 6400 RAM
sata raid0 1.5 TB
500GB sata program drive
video card x1950 xt -

The answer is a little patiences. Just wait until the footage is conformed.

I came from Avid Liquid and this was not the case there, so I guess this must be a PP thing. Thanks for the response.
