    Hi,

if anyone could help with this id appreciate it.

im trying to link the opacity of a layer to some audio. im using the convert audio to keyframes, however, when the opacity is linked to it, it only ranges from 5 to 10 percent. what do i need to add to the expression to increase the range? im using AFX 7.

    cheers

Go into the expressions scripting box and add *2 to multiply the effect by 2. experiment with other numbers, *5 for 5 times the opacity range or *.5 for half the range.

    Hi,

The simplest way would be just to multiply it by 10. Simply add “*10” at the end of your expression should work fine.

If you want to get a bit more complicated then you could use another interpolation expression command, like Linear(). You can find a good explanation here .

    Good luck,
    Ben
