Hello. I have a problem with audio keyframes on Final Cut Pro. When selecting my 2 keyframe points and pulling one down to dip the audio level over time, the rate at which the audio dips isn’t consistent and I get a curved line but I want a straight one. How can I change this?

You can’t. You get a logarithmic fade, which is natural for audio that’s cross fading with other sound. If you want it flat, you have to add more keyframes and do it manually. Or apply a 0dB cross fade transition, which may not work for your timeline.

    All the best,

    Tom
