Audio Key Framing in Vegas
One more question and I promise to take a break…
One of the things that has bothered me working with Vegas 5.0 is audio key framing. I use Avid Xpress Pro at work and I can key frame audio within individual clips. If I move the clip the audio key frames stay, as they are part of the clip.
From what I’ve experienced with Vegas 5.0 is when I key frame audio the key frames are placed above the clip and is part of the whole track. If I need to slide the clip the key frames don’t follow. This can be a major pain.
Of course it could be operator ignorance and there may be a way to key frame audio from within individual clips. However, from a screen shot I saw of Vegas 8, it looks like the audio key framing is the same. Can anyone explain a way to key frame audio and have it embedded in a clip rather than on a track globally (so to speak)?
Thanks!
