  • Audio issues… where is the master level?

Hi… I have latest FCPX ..10.1.4 . have edited video and sound with loads of keyframes… but it is still to loud! I want to normalise..or at least bring it down a couple of notches.

IS there any way to bring down the Master level so that I don’t have to go through each individual wav to bring it down the total master level down say 3 dbs… would take hours with all the keyframes!

Output is for you tube… do they normalise on processing? cos it is still too loud.

    Thanks for all your help

Make a compound clip of the sequence and adjust the level of the compound.

Actually, I#d say simply using the “Adjust Volume->Relative” audio adjustment (ctrl-L) would be far more efficient.

Select all and control minus to lower the levels by 1db at a time.
