Audio issues in Premiere CS4 Timeline and Source Monitor only…
I have been using Premiere CS4 without issue a majority of the time.
I have encountered this problem once before and “magically” fixed it by pushing buttons and cannot figure out what I did last time.
THE PROBLEM…
Audio in the Premiere CS4 Timeline and Source Monitor is intermittent, yet in sync, and is tinny sounding. When I right click the clip and hit Edit Original the sound is fine. When I view original clip outside of Premiere CS4 it is also fine.
This is NOT a new installation issue. I have been using the software for a long time with no issue. It is happening in all of my projects and not just one, so I assume it is a software setting for the entire program that has been switched in some way.
QUESTION…
What is the setting that is messing with the audio playback? Please Help! 😉

Even after previous reboots it did not resolve itself…
Until I rebooted AGAIN and it is fixed… UGHHH! Software…
