    Hello,
    I recorded with a zoom recorder a wave file at 48 and it sounds tinny and bad in fcpx. When I open it in itunes it sounds crystal clear. What am I missing here?

    I would say it sounds like an audio phase issue. Are the two tracks being played back “mono” both panned centrally ? If so almost certainly a phase error.
    Either way try deleting/muting one of the tracks what happens ?
