I recently upgraded my Avid System running media composer. The problem is that when I export to a quicktime movie the audio is very jittery when played back in quicktime. The video appears fine and as the movie plays the audio gets better but it really bad in the beginning.

    Any thoughts?

    Did you upgrade your Quicktime?

If it’s the same problem I was having where the audio is jittery for about the first 8 seconds, try going into your export settings and change the audio sample rate from 44.1kHz to 48kHz. Worked for me.
