  Audio insert on AJHD-1400 Deck?

  I’m trying to blank out some audio on a DVCProHD tape from Final Cut using edit to tape, but I can’t seem to get the audio insert to work correctly.

  When I “Preview” the edit, it appears I can get the video to insert (on a separate attempt I have toggled on “video” to insert) but no dice on the audio.

  Any tips on Inserting Audio only from Final Cut Pro 7.0.2 to the DVCPro HD AJ-HD1400 deck via Kona 3 would be appreciated.

  Tips on how to get audio guys not say stupid things on tapes that are getting shipped off to the client are also welcome.
