Audio input goes away sometimes
Using the LH with a 2 gig G5, sometimes my audio input becomes disconnected, and I get an alert when launching FCP that says it can’t find a device or somesuch, and everything works, only it drops frames like crazy. If I go into audio/video settings I will see that AJA is not selected for audio playback, so when I fix that, I don’t get the alert on launch and dropped frames stop.
This is just a minor annoyance, but I wonder what causes it, perhaps changing capture settings? Sometimes I switch over from 8 bit to DV.
