    Hi,
I have a composition with some audio in.

I have then nested this composition in another composition. However when I exported the comp with the other comp in the audio did not get exported with it.

There is a second audio track in the composition which has the nested comp in, and that came out fine.

Does audio in nested compositions export or does it need to be in the main composition?

Sorry if my wording isn’t entirely correct of if that was hard to understand!

    Thanks,
    Martin

I will get inlcuded in a render if the audio is turned on for the precomp layer in the main comp (little speaker icon). I usually will copy all audio out of the precomps and turn the audio of for precomps, then put the audio tracks into the main comp….of course, most of the time I only use audio in AE as reference as I prefer to only render out video.
