Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy Audio in FCP

I don’t know if this is the best forum for this and have posted in the audio section but this forum has always had the fastest and most helpful responses. Please take pitty on an inexperienced FCP user

I’m outputting a dvd for clients with footage from clubs, videos and interviews. the audio is all over the place and sounds awful.

Can someone please point me in the direction of a tutorial on normalizing the audio?

I have no audio experience and am completely lost.

    Please help.

    Thanks,

    Mike

This is best done in Soundtrack Pro. You can send your project to Soundtrack Pro right from FCP. When Soundtrack Pro launches, simply click on “Help” and look up Normalize Audio.

It’s actually very simple as you just apply the process and you’re done. Then you can send the sound back to FCP. I’ve honestly never used Soundtrack Pro for anything until just this week and I never realized how easy this process was.
