  audio in exported .mov echoes, crackles

  Thanks in advance-

  56:40 long sequence, which plays fine (picture and sound) in FCP.

  I plop a (cropped) slug on top with a timecode generator, for the sound mixer.

  Now, exported .mov version has periodic crackles and blips of audio from other point in the timeline.

  I’ve tried deleting the slug’s audio track (I/O error). Plenty of space on the harddrive, formatted for this computer. Have exported blipless versions from this same .fcp before.
