i’m getting an error message whenever i try to import anything. the message is:
Disk Write Error. Verify drive connections, available disk space and disk access privileges.

any idea what might be causing this? i just recently purchased a new laptop and installed this, and reinstalled after seeing this message to no avail.

really frustrated because i have some music videos to edit but i’m unable to import the music files. actually, i can’t import ANY file without seeing this message. help!!

Sounds like something with the scratch disk settings. Make sure that your scratch disk is set to the correct drive and not full.

yes thanks! i figured it out and came back to the board to let everyone know…it was indeed the scratch disk. for one reason or the other it was set to a folder that didn’t exist, despite the reinstall. thanks again for your help.
