I am using Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 trial. I need to import audio for a school assignment. I tried to import MP3 from freeplay music that I downloaded to my computer. When I tried to import, I got a message saying that the program didn’t support audio format. I had understood from the online guide that MP3 could be imported. How can I import audio files and which types are acceptable?
    thanks

The trial version does not support any form of MPEG compression, including MP3 audio files.

You will find links to many free tutorials in the PremiereProPedia that will quickly show you how things are done in Premiere Pro.

    Cheers

The Mpeg decoder/encoder is not included in the trial version. Most Mp3 will import in the full version, but not 64 kbps mono.
