I’ve discovered an odd problem in PPro 2.0. I brought some video clips from After Effects into PPro 2.0 in a project on one hard drive. I transferred all the files to another hard drive, along with the project file, and tried to open it in PPro 2.0. Some of the video files have audio, others do not. Ppro 2.0 says there’s imbedded audio, but I can’t see or hear it. I checked audio levels – they’re fine. I listened to the files in other applications and the audio is there.

I’ve been using PPro 2.0 for 5-6 months and never had a problem like this before.

    Any ideas????

    Thanks!

You could try relinking all your audio footage (Replace Footage). If you did move the files, then their link is no longer valid in the project index, even if the project was moved in the same folder. It should have brought up a windows though.

You may also need to find the peak files and delete them, so that Premiere can get a fresh start there as well.
