  • Audio gets out of sync if RAM PREVIEW not from beginning of comp…

Posted by Dominic Tremblay on July 7, 2005 at 1:51 am

I’m trying to do a long title sequence synced to a WMA. file. My comp is set to 29.97 fps. It’s various animated text layers animated so they sync to the various tempos of the music, everything was ok for the first 10seconds, until I could’nt ram preview the whole thing. So I tried to set my render range (B(other than 0)) and (N) so that I keep the current 300 frames or so that I’m working on…but music does’nt sync anymore! Any ideas???…I have the strange suspicion that even the ram preview (from the beginning) that seemed to be in sync might end up all wrong once rendered…

    many thanks!

Reduce the comp window size to 50% (Keep quality at full – should be OK).

I’ve seen this before. Probably a memory issue. This tends to make the audio sync up in these situations, but it sucks becasue you can’s see it full screen.
