In the Audio Setup menu, you are able to set the amount of attenuation for each input. The loudest I can get is -8. Should there not be a setting for “Attenuation Off”?

The result is that my levels are low even when my pot is set to 10 and there is too much hiss when I normalize in FCP. If I use the AGC (which I prefer not to), the levels are slammed and I get a very crunched sound.

The microphone I am using is the Sennheiser ME 66, but I have experienced the same issue on other mics as well.

I have used an EX3 recently and it seems like there were different options for the gain.
