Audio from .VOB file drops out after 12 seconds
When I import .vob files from a DVD into Adobe and onto my timeline the audio only shows up for 12 seconds. I have imported .vob files many times before and have had no problems. I played the DVD on its own to make sure the audio was recorded and it is. I can see the waveform for only the 12 seconds. The video is entact from start to end. Anyone else had this problem? The latest update from Adobe that I have is Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014

If the dvd was made with a dvd recorder in low quality it is possible you need to extract the vob’s (something like vobedit) before importing them into Premiere.

Thanks for the info. I ended up downloading HandBrake and converted the file to an .MP4. All seems well thus far.
