Audio Frame offset via Kona3
Hi guys.
With many HDMI display devices creating a lag in picture synch, is there any way that one can offset the audio synch coming from the Kona3 using the Kona’s settings? – Don’t think I’ve come across it if it does exist?
Wanting to use a LG 47″ LED 3D as client monitor and that takes about 8-10 frames of processing time to fire the picture.

Under system settings in FCP, experiment with audio frame offset. It is set to 4 frames by default for firewire use. You set it to 0 if you are monitoring directly from the Kona 3, i.e SDI. Not sure what to set it for HDMI.

Anotehr option would be to run the audio through the LCD TV while client is there. It should then be in sync.

Set to 0 for HDMI as well here for our Kona LHi. sync is right on.
