I’m noticing a very annoying problem/bug in the latest ver of FCP 10:

The audio would fluctuate whenever I switch the angle. It occurred with 2, 3, 5 angles. This only occurs when the sound recorded into the camera. You can clearly hear it during quieter interview segment. This doesn’t occur when I have a separate audio recorder .WAV file.

A closer analysis revealed that I have the background noise and hum filter applied globally. Hmm. When I uncheck those filters, it’s no longer there. So something’s not right with these filters.

You can’t do audio filters in the nest or you’ll get noise at every cut on your timeline. You can only do video level corrections in the nest without interruptions.
