Go to the beginning / end of a clip and select that track, then hit Ctrl D.

I think for audio fades you’ll need to hit: Ctrl+Shift+D

has this ever happened to anyone. I put fades on all of the audio files and now premiere doesn’t want to play it back. what should I do?

Have you tried apologizing? How about a little love song? I bet you Premiere will melt at the sound of some poetry, and will want to play back all those fades for you.

For all those who care. I figured out the problem. two of the audio clips where locked and you can put fades at the beginning and ends but when you try to put a crossfade on a locked audio clip, then it won’t playback.
