I converted my audio to keyframes and pick-whipped some speakers to it, but I them want to bump in z space only. What do I need to do to attain this?

    Hi Dustin,
A handfull of ways to go about it. One would be to apply the “Seperate XYZ position”
animation preset to the layer that you only want to move along the z.

Pick whip the Z position only
    to your audio Keyframe layer.

k one more question. Its bumping in z space now, but it is bumping AWAY from the camera on the bigger waveforms. How do I reverse this?

    Dustin,

If you twirl open your pick-whipped Z property to reveal the expression on your “seperate xyz”
effect. Add a minus sign to the beginning of the expression to reverse the motion.

    Should look something like this

    -thisComp.layer(“Green Solid 1”).transform.position[0]
