When audio sweetening on AVID #1, I am using the mixer tool to adjust music levels and apply an EQ effect to “notch” out the mid-range frequency.

When I move over to AVID #2, the music that I’ve meticulously adjusted under a VO or stand-up is much louder.
The mixer level is identical (-15db) Even though I see the EQ effect and it’s rendered, it appears that my EQ settings are not being applied on the music clip.

If I remove the EQ effect and put a new EQ effect on the clip, the music is still dramatically different than on AVID #1.

    EQ setting I’m using a -7.5db at around 3500hz.

Is that a typo in your OS? Should be 10.5.5 or 10.5.6 or 10.5.7 for MC 3.5.1.

Is your hardware in both rooms set-up the same?

    Settings>Audio Project>Hardware>HW Calibration (for example, -20 dBFS)
