  Audio effects on voiceover

  I have a voiceover track that I’ve chopped up a little. For some of the takes, the artist was closer to his mic than in others so there are slight discrepencies from one clip to another. My question is, what’s the best way to ‘unify’ the sound, so it all sounds the same? I’ve played around with the levels, but I haven’t used the audio effects much, so any input is appreciated. THANKS!
