im playing back clips in my timeline and i hear what sounds like an echo or reverb filter. is there a way to turn all that stuff off? there are no filters on my clip… even when i go to print to video and preview the tone i hear it… whats up wit that? i am monitoring through a sony drs-20 deck. but even while previewing from the finder within quicktime i hear it as well, only on this machine.

on other machines it does not do it… unfortunately i cannot install other copies of the software on the other systems… what can i do to fix this? i already cleared preferences in the library, still stuck… help

    Just a guess.

If there are plugs connected to the audio inputs on the DSR-20 deck, unplug them and see what happens.
(This is to see if there might be an analog “loop” happening.)

Again, make sure you have nothing at all plugged into the audio INPUTS on the deck.

    Then post back.
