  • Audio during variable frame rates and CCD scanning Question

Is it possible to record audio when doing variable framerate recording? Also, is the CCD truly scanning at 24hz or 26 or 22 when set in those different frame rates? I know that it can scan at 60, so there is no problem with 30 fps, but can someone explain how the camera is scanning at 60hz, but recording at 24hz? I know that with pull down that you “have” a place to record the frames, but how is the actual sampling occuring?

No audio is recorded at all when shooting at variable speeds.

And yes, the CCD is reclocked and scans at the frame rate dictated in the FRAME RATE menu option.
