Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy audio dropout?

    hi there,
    i am shooting on a PD150. the audio on my tapes are clean good quality. when i capture them into fcp using wither a dsr 2000, dsr 20, or a dsr 11 the audio monitored out of the deck is clean, but after capture when i play the clip back in the viewer or in the timeline i get get audio dropout and clicks and pops. any ideas?

    You capture settings and sequence settings are not matching. Find out if you shot 32 kHz or 48kHz and then match the capture settings and sequence settings to that.

    Which version of FCP? Also, try an audio mixdown.

    This also happens when capturing via firewire. Apparently in the audio settings, the speaker needs to be turned off, otherwise you get these clicks and pops. Although it doesnt seem to matter if the speaker is on or off for me…..
