  • Audio dropout on quicktime export

I am exporting a timeline sequence as a quicktime file, but when I play it back there are large chunks of silence where the audio has been lost.

The sequence has been rendered properly, and everything plays okay on the timeline.

    Can anyone help?

Try doing an audio mixdown of your timeline. This usually fixes this kind of problem for me…

Do a Select All on your sequence, then from the menus:

    sequence>render only>mixdown

    Then export your timeline.

Thanks Simmie, it works!. It appears I exceeded the number of realtime tracks that could be played back within the sequence I had built.

I’ll do a mixdown on all my sequences in the future.
Thanks again for your valued support.
