  • Audio drop outs when making Quicktimes

Posted by Martin Sterling on November 3, 2005 at 6:22 pm

I have a Dual 2GHZ Mac with 2 gigs of Ram runnin 10.3.9. I just installed Quicktime pro 7. For some reason when I export a quictime movie off of my time line I get audio drop outs in two places. One area is a precomp and the other is just some audio on track 2. I have simalar precomps and audio layers through out the piece but the dropout only occurs in the two places whenever I try to export a quicktime. I want to know what is going on.
    Any Suggestions

    ThankYou In Advance

Try it after doing an audio mixdown.

Check those two places on your timeline and see if there’s a blue render bar there when there shouldn’t be and then check this thread to fix the problem:

The person that start this thread was talking about phantom video, but I’ve had it happen with audio as well (due to the phantom video). This should fix the problem if it keeps happening in the same place everytime.
