Have just updated my system to Avid Xpress Pro v5.5

When I play back my timeline the audio starts to drift out of sync after about 10 or 15 seconds.

I never had this problem when using Avid Xpress DV v3.5

Does anyone have any ideas about what could be causing this?

    Thanks

Check your audio project settings, then the sample rate of the material. You might have mismatched sample rates…

Couldn’t tell by your profile, but if you’re on a mac and running an LCD monitor at non-native resolution, this has been known to affect sync.

Seems to be fixed in Xpress Pro 5.6.2, which you can download from Avid if your copy of 5.5 is registered. The download is about 428MB.

    best wishes
