    What is the best way to try to correct audio distortion (in FCP5 or Soundtrack Pro) from a lapel mike that had the volume turned up too high? It’s not real bad, but I want to try and get rid of the small amount of distortion.

    Don’t think it can be done I’m afraid. It’s akin to over exposure. Might play around with some eq filters but…

    Actually, it can be done if the distortion is not too bad, I’ve done it with the low pass filter. Not perfect, but it helps.
