    Help!!!!

I ingested a quicktime of a completed show (from someone else, I do not have the original edit files or footage) into FCP7 to mask a graphic … when I export it as a quicktime again the audio has shifted about 10 or 15 frames downstream. Any idea why or how to fix? Thanks in advance.

I’m going to guess that the file you received and imported is an H.264 codec file. And that you just imported that without converting it to ProRes first. FCP 7 does not work well with H.264, one of the bi issues it has is sync when editing or when exporting.

You need to convert the file to ProRes 422 first, then import.
