    Setup:
    KONA 3 driver 5.1
    OS 10.5.4
    FCP 6.0.4

About a week ago, all the sudden, whenever I start up FCP, the audio
will be out of sync coming out of the KONA card to my audio monitors
relative to the video out of the KONA card on my video monitor.
The audio is also out of sync with the canvas or viewer on the computer monitor.
The audio will be late by more than a few frames.
This happens on both SD and HD formats and sequences.

The way I fix it is to go to easy setup and just re-apply the setup it already
is set for. There will be a slight jump on the video monitor.
Then the audio and video match up again on the output.

    Any help would be appreciated.

What is your Playback Offset set to? It should be 0

    Yes, it’s at zero.

This is the strangest thing. Every time I start up FCP, either from a dead systems startup,
restart or from and FCP close and open… each time I do that, If I start playing back
a sequence, the audio will be off by more than a few frames (audio will be late)
on both SD and HD sequences and projects.
I go up to easy setup and re apply the setting it’s already at, I see a blink on the
NTSC and/or HD monitor, start the sequence playback again and it’s fine now.

Maybe trash prefs? I’ve looked all over the AJA card settings and don’t see anything
unusual there as far as I can tell.
