audio cuts out half way in rendered video
I used an mp3 that is the EXACT length of the video, the song is 5:55 and I made my video to match, but EVERY TIME I render MPG MPEG-2 video the audio cuts out around the 3 minute mark EVERY TIME in the rendered video!!! it is ONLY 1 mp3 and it is 5:55 but ALWAYS cuts out around the 3 minute mark in the rendered video!!!

For whatever reason, a lot of users seem to be having issues with mp3 files and Vegas lately.
The recommendation is to render that file to WAV format, substitute it for the problem mp3 and try again. -
