    Hello all,

I have a HD 720P nested sequence I am trying to export to DVD. I have limiter filters (-.20 I believe) on both the original sequences as well as the final nested sequence. Nothing peaks in the red on any sequence that I can see.

However, when I export this to DVD I get this jittery, crackly audio and I can’t figure out how to fix it.

I have also tried reducing the bit rate. I believe the most recent one was 3.0 target and 5.0 max. That didn’t work either.

I really am in a pinch here. My deadline is coming very soon and I need someone with knowledge to help out. I’m on a Vista 64-bit Sony Vaio. I have burned DVDs from this machine successfully in the past.

Thanks for your help in advance,
    Justin.

    Hi Justin,

My guess is your problem is the limiter. Easy to figure out, turn it of and do a short test export to Mpeg2 DVD and listen to the wav file.

I never use the Premiere hard limiter, the compressor (part of dynamics plugin) is a much better option.
