    audio control surface problem

    Got aan Akai midimix control surface to control audio in FCP 7. Computer sees it but i can’t get it to control levels. Can someone run me thru necessary settings?

    i havent done this in a while, and this is from memory:

    in FCP< go to Tools Menu > Control Surfaces
    click on the plus button to add a new control surface,
    you have to specify the protocol.

    are you sure that AKai will work with FCP?
