I am using a Blackmagic Decklink Extreme PCIe card to transfer from an analog deck into Final Cut Pro 6. For some reason Final Cut puts all of my audio onto one channel when I capture(or even when I just monitor the levels in the log and capture window). I can tell that it is leaving my deck on two separate channels, but Final Cut does not keep the audio separated. I went to my local Apple Store and was told by the Final Cut expert there that all my settings and preferences were correct. He could not understand why Final Cut was putting all the audio on one channel. Anyone else have this problem or know why this is happening and how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
