Audio, but no video when capturing from Sony HDR-HC9
Hello!
I’m working with my old tape-based Sony HDR-HC9 which has always captured just fine into Final Cut 6.0.6.
Now, it’s just capturing audio, but the video is a green screen.
I’ve done some research and it looks like Sony may have changed a codec in the past six months or so. Any insight out there?

Thanks for your response. It’s in playback mode, and was capturing using log and capture via Firewire.
However, I think I’ve solved the problem. I ran a system update, as an editor here suggested it might be something with Quicktime. That seems to have done the trick!
