This has occurred on old Vegas 4 as well as Vegas 7–so its
not new but I am missing a piece here. After assigning a Bus
A for say wild sound and Bus B for say VO–(and making sure they
are checked on their bus box and all registered with master in the
Mix settings)–one track say B may also be registering in A’s
DB/VU Meter (which I don’t want)–In other words it is duplicating
its reading in another Bus’meter. I discovered this by trying to
mute a track and could NOT only to discover it was registering
in another track. Sometimes I want several tracks to be on the
    same bus as in a multi-track music score–but for voice I don’t
want it registering except on its own. Any thoughts on what is
causing this and how I can get it back to a single bus ?? Thanks.

Can you create a new bus, send the voice to the new bus, and then clear it from the previous bus assignment?
